My Ekon Tattoo
This tattoo, one of my first, has significant meaning. Ekon is the name of the camp I attended for ten summers, first as camper and later as a counsellor. Ekon is the name the Huron Indians gave to the Jesuit missionary St. Jean de Brebeuf. It means "he who carries the heavy load."
This tattoo was done by Carl at Way Cool Tattoos—Downtown in Toronto. This tattoo is on my back, near my left shoulder.
