My Holy Spirit Tattoo
This tattoo is my reminder that the Holy Spirit is with me always and everywhere, a promise from Jesus Christ Himself. The image is a representation of the stained glass window that is behind the altar at Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican
(close-up view; wide view). The window, part of a larger sculpture, was created in 1657-66 by the Italian Baroque sculptor Gianlorenzo Bernini.
Verse, John 14:15-16, reads: "If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever".
